Strengthening Strategic Cooperation in Croatian Shipbuilding

ISKRA Shipyard, 3. Maj Shipyard and FINCANTIERI are strengthening their partnership and exploring new opportunities for future cooperation in the maritime and naval sectors.

Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ISKRA Shipyard, 3. Maj Shipyard and FINCANTIERI S.p.A., representatives of the three companies met at the shipyard to continue discussions on potential areas of collaboration.

During the visit, Roko Vuletić, Ph.D., CEO of ISKRA Shipyard and 3. Maj Shipyard, welcomed FINCANTIERI representatives Mauro Manzini and Daniele Zaccagnino. The programme included a tour of the shipyard and discussions focused on future cooperation, the development of shipbuilding capabilities and potential opportunities within naval programmes.

The meeting highlighted a shared commitment to supporting the advancement of Croatian shipbuilding expertise while combining the knowledge, capabilities and international experience of the participating companies.

Through cooperation with globally recognised industry partners, ISKRA Shipyard and 3. Maj Shipyard aim to contribute to the continued development of Croatia’s maritime and defence industries. Such partnerships can support knowledge exchange, technological advancement and the creation of new opportunities within the international shipbuilding market.

This initiative represents another important step towards strengthening the long-term competitiveness of Croatian shipbuilding and establishing a strong foundation for future industrial cooperation.
