ISKRA Shipyard and 3. Maj Shipyard Sign Memorandum of Understanding with Rheinmetall Naval Systems

During the Rheinmetall Industry Day, an important Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ISKRA Shipyard, 3. Maj Shipyard and Rheinmetall Naval Systems / NVL B.V., marking a significant step towards future cooperation in the naval and defence sector.

The Memorandum was signed by Roko Vuletić, PhD, CEO of ISKRA Shipyard and 3. Maj Shipyard, together with Alexander Singer and Detlef Schlichting from Rheinmetall Naval Systems / NVL B.V.

This agreement creates a foundation for future collaboration on projects related to the Croatian Navy, while also opening new opportunities in international markets through Rheinmetall’s global sales network.

The signed Memorandum reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Croatia’s shipbuilding capabilities and supporting the future development of the domestic defence industry. It also represents an important milestone following the recent acquisition of 3. Maj Shipyard by ISKRA Shipyard, further reinforcing the strategic vision to develop Croatian naval shipbuilding and deliver competitive, high-value solutions for the defence sector.

Through this partnership, ISKRA Shipyard and 3. Maj Shipyard continue to contribute to the development of Croatia’s industrial base, while supporting advanced naval programmes through strategic international cooperation.
