Our response to Covid-19

We wanted to provide a brief update on a few steps we’ve been taking in the Covid-19 times.
Due to COVID-19's significant impact on our lives, we've taken a number of measures with two key goals in mind: to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers, and business partners; and to support our customers with a dedicated international team.
At Iskra, we have been taking a proactive approach to the Covid-19 situation by appointing a dedicated "Covid-19 crisis team" that on daily basis continues to monitor the latest developments around COVID-19 and provide updates as needed.
Iskra offices and production facilities around the world are taking active measures in alignment with local government guidelines by minimizing physical contact, cessation of business travel, and implementing flexible working arrangements, such as work from home and weekly team rotation schedules.
Iskra remains committed to providing our clients with excellent and service as our production units and logistics operations run normally following the guidelines of local authorities and WHO.
Post-Covid-19 times
The Health and safety of our employees, customers, and business partners remain our top priority for 2021. We will keep the work-from-home routine by providing a flexible working schedule to each employee.
We are organizing free COVID-19 tests for all our employees in order to maintain a safe working environment and minimize the risk of COVID-19 infections.
As the global Covid-19 pandemic is not slowing down, most countries are tightening restrictions amid a surge of new infections. A third wave of pandemic is now advancing swiftly across much of Europe.
We would like to inform our customers that at Iskra we will operate normally – whoever can, will work from home.
In the last quarter, we recorded a significant increase in orders. However, we sense major problems in the whole supply chain and the situation is very unpredictable.
Our colleagues from the procurement, R&D, technology and production department are trying their best to ensure the needed supply for production. We are increasing our production capacity at the expense of the investments and efforts of our colleagues in production.
Having a great relationship with our customers is crucial to us, and we are eager to fulfill all our orders on time. Therefore, we are kindly asking you to provide the most accurate forecast for your next orders. If possible for a longer period of time, at least until the end of the summer, or even better until the end of the year. This way we will better plan and allocate our production capacity and the entire supply chain accordingly.
