Iskra proudly participates in the OPERH2 project funded by Slovenian public agency SPIRIT. The main project objective: The energy from a photovoltaic power plant will be used for the electrolysis of water in order to obtain hydrogen. Hydrogen will be used in glass production. The finished product will be "green" glass made of glass melting by hydrogen. End glass products will be produced with very low carbon footprint technology procedure. This technology will be expandable also to other industrial environments not only glass production.
As part of this project, a photovoltaic controller PR100 will be developed by Iskra. PR100 will measure the quality of the produced photovoltaic energy and at the same time, it will monitor all connected energy resources. Synchronization will be developed between the PR100 controllers, providing real-time responses in case of any failure in energy production or consumption side. Automatic reports will be made per week basis and real-time alarms will be sent in case of any
system failure. With PR100 controller reliability of the photovoltaic system will be improved significantly and a higher level of security will be provided for any sensible gear connected to the photovoltaic plant.
